I went to Jay for treatment for general fatigue after a stressful time and on other occasions for pain. After each treatment I have felt better. Sometimes it hasn’t been immediate but definitely always after a couple of days. Jay commented that one side of my body was “lifted” but after treatment confirmed that it was more balanced. The treatments are very relaxing and I can recommend Jay. You won’t be disappointed
Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need?
The honest answer is that I don’t know. There are so many factors that can influence how many treatments someone needs such as what your symptoms are, how long they have been present and the life experiences of the individual that have led to their development.
However, I can offer an indication of how many treatments may be beneficial to start to make an impact on the reduction of symptoms and improvement in your health and well-being can be suggested.
I find most clients start to feel better from a minimum of 3 treatments. The first is to start the process, the second is to facilitate greater depth and change and the third is to consolidate the changes.
As part of the initial consultation, I will recommend how many treatments I feel would be initially beneficial to make an impact on the reduction of symptoms and improvement in your health and wellbeing.
I won’t always be able to attend a weekly appointment. Does that matter?
Initially, it would be advisable to have some consecutive treatments but it’s not necessarily essential. Depending on where your body is at or the type of treatment process a longer duration between treatments is necessary to allow the body to assimilate and adjust to the changes.
During the treatment process, we may also extend the duration between treatments based on the progression being made.
How do I know if it will work for me? / Do I have to have an initial consultation?
I offer an initial consultation so that you can meet me, find out more about how I can help, ask any questions you may have, and have an experience of the process and some change.
From this experience, I hope you’ll be able to decide if the services I offer will be able to help you.
What happens after the consultation?
During the consultation, we will have a chat about what I’m finding and how that relates to the symptoms you are experiencing.
After that, I’ll be able to indicate what I feel would be a good treatment plan for you. We can discuss the options available and you can decide what you feel is right for you.
You can decide to go ahead at that point and we’ll sort out logistics or you can have a think about it and I’ll check back with you in a couple of days.
Will I need to remove any clothing for the treatment?
No. The treatments are delivered whilst you remain clothed. In-person treatments are generally delivered ‘hands-on’. This is gentle contact with my hand or fingers.
There may be times when it’s not appropriate to make contact with the body where support is needed in which case I would invite you to place your hand where I need to work and put my hand on top of your or work off the body.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing which allows you to relax and feel comfortable during your treatment.
When can I expect to feel the benefits?
The majority of clients start to feel a difference almost immediately which builds during the treatment process.
Some feel more energised immediately, some feel more relaxed and like a weight has lifted.
For others is a slower process where they notice the difference a couple of days after the treatment.
However, some people may also feel a little bit worse following a treatment and symptoms may appear worse before they get better. This is a positive sign that the body is cleansing itself of toxins and impurities stuck in the body and should pass within a few days.
Should I do anything after the treatment?
Following your treatment, we recommend that you:
- Drink plenty of water to help flush out impurities and detoxify the body.
- Try to rest for the rest of the day to enhance the treatment and allow the body to heal.
- Take care whilst driving, you will be in a relaxed state and your responses may be slower.
- Have light meals to allow your body to focus on healing, so you don’t overload the body.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine as these are toxins and stimulants and will reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
I received a treatment yesterday and woke up feeling well. Is this normal?
Sometimes symptoms may appear worse before they get better or we can feel a little under the weather for 24-48 hours following a treatment. This is a positive sign that the body is cleansing and moving any toxins and impurities stuck in the body.
Commonly experienced post-treatment symptoms can include:
- Feeling cold
- Mild headache
- Mild tiredness
- A need to urinate more than usual
- Changes in bowel movements
- Changes in sleeping pattern
- Feeling emotional, irritable or restless
- Nausea/dizziness
- Skin reactions
If you find yourself feeling a bit out of sorts after your treatment please let me know. I can advise you of any action to take to support your body.

I currently offer a late afternoon/early evening appointment slot.
How long are the appointments?
Appointment durations are 60 or 90 minutes in duration. You will be notified of this before the sessions and will be discussed in the initial consultation.
There are times were the duration of the sessions may be shorter. This would be on an individual basis and discussed as part of your treatment plan.
Do you only work with women?
No. I am happy to work with anyone who is respectful of me and my work.
How can I be sure if it can help me?
I offer an initial consultation so that you can meet me, find out more about how I can help, ask any questions you may have and have an experience of the process and some change.
This experience will probably not be enough to make a significant change to your symptoms but it will be enough to offer you insight and a feeling for whether it is something you feel is for you and de
